The opportunity
Make every funded relationship a well-serviced one.
Support physicians, medical practices, and other small business owners from funding through end of term. Keep billing and payments accurate, answer account questions, and resolve issues with care and ownership.
As one of our first dedicated servicing hires, you will help shape the function, develop broad operational expertise, and have the opportunity to grow into leadership as the team expands. Early-stage collections support is also part of the role.
What the role owns
Keep accounts accurate and customers informed.
- Serve as the primary contact for billing, payment, and account-status questions; follow issues through to resolution.
- Apply ACH, card, check, and wire payments, and research posting discrepancies.
- Track insurance coverage and certificates; respond to sales-tax, property-tax, and other pass-through-charge inquiries.
- Process banking, address, entity or name, due-date, and other account updates; maintain accurate servicing and CRM records.
- Prepare payoff and buyout quotes, process prepayments and early buyouts, and handle renewals, returns, and purchase options at end of term.
- Support portfolio and lender reporting and account-status data requests.
- Monitor early-stage past-due accounts, make first-touch reminder contact, and refer accounts that need further collections attention.
What success looks like
Build reliable service from the first month.
First 30 days: learn the portfolio and servicing system, and handle everyday billing, payments, and customer inquiries.
By 60 to 90 days: run account servicing independently, resolve inquiries, maintain clean records, and bring options and recommendations when decisions are needed.
Candidate profile
Bring patience, precision, and ownership.
- Experience in loan or lease servicing, billing and accounts receivable, equipment finance, or a comparable operational role; commercial or B2B experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of billing, payment application, payoffs, and end-of-term activity.
- Warm, patient communication and a professional approach to frustrated customers.
- Strong accuracy and organization across many open accounts, with dependable follow-up and independent prioritization.
- Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and servicing and CRM platforms.
- Helpful, not required: early-term collections, commercial lending, lease or loan documentation, insurance, or tax-tracking experience.
