01

The opportunity

Protect the portfolio without losing the relationship.

Work accounts from 1 to 210 days past due, guiding them toward cure, workout, recovery, or charge-off review. Customers include physicians, medical practices, and other small business owners financing high-value medical equipment.

As one of LeasePoint’s first dedicated collectors, you will own your queue, help shape the function, and have the opportunity to grow into leadership as the team expands.

02

What the role owns

Follow through from first contact to resolution.

  • Work the daily past-due queue through calls, email, text, and written notices; negotiate payment arrangements within approved parameters and document every contact and commitment.
  • Monitor 30-, 60-, and 90-plus-day aging, track cure and roll trends, and report delinquency to the Head of Funding.
  • Contact personal guarantors, perform skip tracing, and monitor bankruptcy and other distress signals.
  • Escalate workout, restructuring, repossession, legal referral, and charge-off reviews with complete files; coordinate equipment-related issues with vendors and support remarketing.
  • Follow commercial collections best practices and internal policies, including guarantor-contact and TCPA requirements.
  • Support account maintenance, payoff requests, and customer inquiries as capacity allows; keep servicing and CRM records current.
03

What success looks like

Build command of the portfolio and work it consistently.

First 30 days: learn the portfolio and servicing system, and work the past-due queue daily.

By 60 to 90 days: manage collections independently, document every contact, consistently work delinquency, and bring options and recommendations when issues need attention.

04

Candidate profile

Bring persistence, judgment, and disciplined follow-through.

  • Experience in collections, loan servicing, equipment finance, or a comparable operational role; commercial or B2B collections experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of collections practices and the regulations applicable to commercial and guarantor accounts.
  • Clear communication, fairness, integrity, and the ability to stay composed during difficult conversations.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail across many accounts, including month-end and quarter-end priorities.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and servicing and CRM platforms.
  • Helpful, not required: commercial lending, lease and loan documentation, UCC filings, repossession, or asset recovery experience.
05

Cross-functional ownership

How the role works across LeasePoint.

Work closely with sales, credit, funding, product, and operations. Share accurate customer details, keep records current, and bring questions to the team best equipped to answer them.

  • Bring customer and vendor context with the handoff
  • Keep CRM and operating records complete enough for the next owner to act
  • Escalate credit, legal, privacy, pricing, and approval questions to the responsible team
  • Turn repeated friction into a better process, enablement asset, or controlled change
